Bland Bowl

Did anyone else think that this was the most boring Superbowl ever?

I eventually got so bored that I started watching the NBC Nightly News. And if you know me and news, you know that says a lot.

I also thought the halftime show lacked that certain je ne sais quoi.

Ever since Nipplegate back in 2004 the shows just aren't shocking enough.

I was hoping that there would be a surprise cameo by Mariah Carey, and that she would unexpectedly give birth to her twins on live television.

Eh, a girl can dream! Football just isn't my thing!
And am I crazy or did Christina Aguilera omit about 90% of the Star Spangled Banner???!!! How unpatriotic!

You Go Girl!

If this isn't diva, I don't know what is.

Someone gave this to me many years ago and I, not knowing that I would one day morph into Mamacita, gave it to my mom.

Now this little precious sits proud on her guest bed.
You Go Girl!

It's not a big deal, but...

I'm so creative!

Check out this corkboard I made with many, many wine corks and a hot glue gun.

It looks great on the wall now as a functional cork/bulletin board.
Once you add pics and such the uneveniness is totally not noticeable.
Start popping those bottles divas!

@InaGarten in my dreams

After recently proclaiming to my sister and husband, "That's it! The Internet is over!" my sister encouraged me to start getting more into Twitter.

Of course I obliged because she is wise, and because I think I really had reached the end of the World Wide Web, at least as it pertains to things that I give a crap about (i.e., Mariah Carey, divas, recipes, and restaurants).

So I started following some randos, like Huffington Post, People Magazine, Giada DeLaurantis.

And I got to thinking, how funny/predictable Ina Garten's tweets would be if she was on Twitter.

@InaGarten I just got the best deal on a bunch of monochromatic Button Up Shirts. Size XXL and still growing!

@Ina Garten Jeffrey just got home from his mysterious job far, far away! Roast chicken for everyone!

@InaGarten I just experimented using "really bad" dijon mustard instead of "really good" dijon mustard. Living life on the edge - Hamptons Style bitches!

Love you Ina!

*No lie, if you Google Image Ina Garten, she is wearing a one-tone button up shirt in every single picture. The lady loves her buttons! And she sure ain't scurred of denim!

One more thing about coffee...

And perhaps only my sissy will appreciate this, but please watch this video.

Oooh how I heart Jack McFarland!

Shaazzaaam!

A little less conversation, A little more coffee

This morning I found an unexpected way to get more for your money while also dangerously increasing your caffeine intake!

We went to Panera this morning because we were indeed out of coffee. I guess the magic fairies had the night off ;)

I ordered a medium hazelnut coffee, but asked for a plastic cup to go with it because I wanted to make it ice coffee. Well by the time I poured my coffee in the iced cup (self-serve situation), it was totally an X-Large.

So not only did I get more than what I paid for, I did it semi-honestly because they are the ones that gave me the giant cup in the first place.

And I also have MORE than enough energy to make it through this day because this is by far the most amount of coffee I've ever had!

Thank goodness Friday decided to show up! Now here's hoping that my heart doesn't explode before the day ends!

*Note: I hope you are reading this with as much spastic energy as I put into, because I am straight up JAZZED on caffeine. :D
