In her quest for greatness, my sister has discovered a very unique hair salon with a VERY colorful staff.
I only share this with you because I respect the hell out of the originality of this website. http://www.curlupndye.com/
And because I bet all of their moms are really, really proud.

I went to a movie last week (Blind Side = awesome), and was told about a horrifying article pertaining to movie popcorn.

I kind of figured it was awful for you because, obviously, anything that is that good is terrible for you, and it's soooo good. But what I didn't know is that with a soda, a medium popcorn is the equivalent of 3 "Quarter Pounders topped with 12 pats of butter."

That's hard information to swallow, literally. However, I figure if I get a diet soda then it's really only like 2 Quarter Pounders with 6 pats of butter and that's nothing that 10 hours at the gym can't reverse.

I truly hate to be the one to share this news, but no one should unknowingly consume that many calories. Man, I am going to miss that greasy sheen on my fingers when I go see Precious and New Moon. :(

This is the semi-true story...

The fact that this trailer focuses on actual issues and personalities, instead of drunken fights and threesomes, makes me thinks this new season on the Real World is going to be pretty lame-o.

Regardless, I'll still be tuning in to catch the dramz and see all the hot spots in my old stomping grounds. Although something tells me I probably didn't hang out at the same places that the Real World cast did.

Quote of the Day

"Maybe it's like what it says in the Bible: I felt bad because I had no shoes. But.. then I met someone who had really bad shoes."

Read Very Carefully - This Actually Matters

Well known fact: Divas love themselves, their families and friends, and give them the very best that money can buy.

Obvious question: Why shouldn't everyone get the chance to have that same treatment, no matter how much money they have?

Now's your chance to give someone else the treatment they deserve by donating to Mustaches for Kids, D.C. The DC chapter is run by my dear, noble, hairy-lipped friend who may or may not date my sister. Here's what you need to know:

"All proceeds go towards Children's National Medical Center’s Kids Care Fund. The Kids Care Fund responds to the basic needs of childrens’ healthcare; it is vital to daily operations of the hospital and goes to support programs such as: new discoveries in research, special facilities, unique therapies (including art therapy, child-life specialists, and social works), and other special programs. Whether it’s life-saving medicines or Looney Tunes pajamas, the Kids Care Fund allows CNMC to do what it does best: making kids better."

Check out the M4KDC website here and please consider donating. http://www.m4kdc.org/

Their mantra for donations is the same as it is for mustaches: there is no such thing as too big or too small. $1 or $1,000,000, it all makes a huge difference!

I donated $25 this week and I feel great for having finally made a difference in 2009 (the deadline is soon!) Please join in and do the same today!!! It's a win-win. You get to make yourself feel good, AND someone else. Who doesn't love that!?

Picking out what you are going to order before going out to eat at a restaurant…every.single.time.

I do this literally everytime I go out to eat. Not only does it allow be to budget how much money I'm going to spend, it allows me to research nutritional facts before I commit to a meal.
Neurotic? Si! Opposite of spontaneous? Oui! Genius? Hell yeah.

Not only do I do this for myself, I provide menu selections for other frequent diners as well. Not because I am a health professional or a size zero myself. Just because I am often bored and like to force my opinion on others.
Please contact me if you would like me to pick out your lunch or dinner. (I don't do breakfast) My services are free of charge.

Restaurants who don't post their menus rarely get my business. What are you trying to hide!?!? You can't play a player.

Bon appetit divas!
